I said I would do this by SomeNavySEALs I said I would do this by SomeNavySEALs
A long time ago I said I would do a tutorial so while I made the M40 I decided to do this. I understand that it's really vague feel free to ask any questions you may have.

I forgot to mention the dodging at the end, just do the opposite of the burn or something x_>

sadly the only way a weapon would look like this in the Marines is if the person was a shit bag and didn't clean it.. or if they had been out in the field and in constant combat for a few days with no breaks to clean it.. Scratches and stuff are one thing, but if there is grime on your rifle (no matter how cool it looks and.. surprisingly realistic for the picture) ..its time to clean your weapon if it looks like that.. after all..who knows what the insides would be like XD

Originally I didn't want to add the dirt, but since I was making a tut while drawing the gun I really couldn't leave it out 's prolly why anyone'll even read it.

Those textured composite parts collect dirt like a bitch... as for the rest there's not much of an excuse since it's been through FISH and CHIPS(fighting in someone's house and causing havoc in people's streets).

And I never said the internals hadn't seized :P

This is... fantastic as a basic and simple tutorial.
I've always worried about colouring in my work, because it'd look flat and bland. These would turn drawings to artworks, thank you much.

I've been on hiatus from anything creative in much too long :(
I never wanted to colour my stuff before because I was too hung up on how my bland one-part-one-colour 'style' just degraded the look of the art.

If I ever get around to it, I'd be sure to use the tutorial when I give it a go.

I would love to see this with less grunge on it,less dirt.

It can be done so that it looks good and textured without using grunge but it's a lot harder.
